indians

One of the Indian tribes that lives in Box Elder County is the Shoshone. The shoshone indians established villages about as high as  10,00 ft. in evelation. They have dark skin and had a clash with the white men a war until 1863. A treaty was signed to stop the war.  They use wickups and other stuff. I got the following stuff from Wickipedia. the name Shoshone means "tall grass" and it used to be called Shosoni. They hunt well  they can grow long hair as in this pic. They live in a top corner of Utah were my county is. So that is my intresting tribe in my county good bye.

  1. Cody this is great information, but I am not seeing anything in your own words. This needs to be added for a higher grade.
